Get to Know Director Frans Silalahi
KAMIan Indonesian acronym meaning Light of the Truth is Back to the Bible's indigenous ministry in Indonesia. This fairly new ministry--it began in 2003--is reaching the largest Muslim country in the world.

Facts:
- Bible-teaching program Truth for Today is aired on 27 radio stations--reaching even into the most remote areas of this island nation.
- Numerous churches have been forced to close as a result of a recent law stating that no one is allowed to share their faith with another person in such a way that it results in a conversion. Anyone violating this law--especially with someone under 18 years of age--faces stiff fines or imprisonment.
- Radio programs play a key role in proclaiming the Gospel since no one actually speaks face to face with another person.
- Listener rallies reveal that there are many people who enthusiastically embrace the biblical teaching heard over KAMI’s network of stations. One rally stretched to three nights when 10,000 people crowded in to hear our national Bible teacher explain God’s Word. Hundreds committed themselves to Jesus Christ.
- KAMI provides needed support to local churches with Biblical leadership and counselor training in key areas of Indonesia.
- A new radio station was recently constructed in North Sumatra.

"I was sick for seven months. I could not wake up from my bed. I felt that I was lame and I could not even eat. I was mad to the Lord, and I left Him. I went to a paranormal to seek healing, but useless. After listening to SAN FM and your sermon I realize that I am lost. I cried to the Lord asking for forgiveness. I am so amaze when I realize that at the same time I am healing. Praise the Lord."

"Your radio station is a source of my spiritual growth. I am a believer, but I can not attend Sunday Service because my mother in law does not allow me to go to church. Please help me to grow in spiritual life."
